Keep incoming and outgoing wire orders in their own queue, link your relay-network account by integration, and deliver them like any order.

  2. 2Create a Wire order sales channel
  3. 3Open the wire order queue
  4. 4Accept an incoming wire order
  5. 5Schedule and fill the delivery
  6. 6Send an outgoing wire order
  7. 7Reconcile wire orders each week

Wire orders sit in their own queue in GetFloristPOS, separate from walk-in and web sales, so a filling order from another town never gets lost under the counter tickets. You keep your existing relay-network account; we connect it to your shop by integration through the API connector, and our onboarding team sets that up with you. Once it is live, incoming orders land in the queue, and you schedule, fill and deliver them like any other order.

Before you start

  • You are on the Bloom or Garden plan (the wire order queue is part of both).
  • You have an active account with the relay network you already use, and you can reach its settings or support for API access.
  • Your delivery zones and time slots are set up, so a wire order can be booked into a slot.
  • You have admin rights in GetFloristPOS.

Steps

  1. Ask for the wire integration during onboarding. Tell your onboarding lead which relay network you use. We review what that network allows and connect it through the API connector. GetFloristPOS is not a member of any network and has no partnership with one; the account and its terms stay yours.
  2. Create a Wire order sales channel. Go to Settings → Business settings → Sales and add a channel or custom field value called “Wire order”, plus a field for the sending florist’s reference number. This keeps wire sales out of your counter totals in reports.
  3. Open the wire order queue. Go to Sell → Wire orders. You will see two tabs: Incoming (orders you fill) and Outgoing (orders you send to another florist). Each row shows the delivery date, time slot, recipient town and status.
  4. Accept an incoming wire order. Open the order, check the recipient address against your delivery zones, and confirm the product can be made from today’s stock. Click Accept. If you cannot fill it, decline it in your relay network’s own tools as you do today.
  5. Schedule and fill the delivery. Pick the delivery date and time slot, add the enclosure card message, and set the status to Ordered. As the designer works, move it through Packed, Shipped and Delivered. The order appears on the van sheet for its slot.
  6. Send an outgoing wire order. When a customer at your counter wants flowers delivered in another city, go to Sell → Wire orders → Outgoing → Add. Enter the recipient, the product and the price, take payment as usual, then send it to the filling florist through your relay network.
  7. Reconcile wire orders each week. Go to Reports → Sales and filter by the Wire order channel. Compare the totals with your relay network’s statement so any missing or disputed orders show up early.

Common problems

An incoming order did not appear in the queue

Check Settings → API connector for the last sync time and any error. If the integration was paused, ask support to reconnect it. In the meantime, add the order by hand from the queue so the delivery is not missed.

The recipient is outside my delivery zones

The order will show a zone warning. Either add a one-off delivery charge or decline the order through your relay network. Do not leave it unaccepted; the sending florist is waiting.

Wire sales are mixed into my counter totals

The sales channel or custom field was not set on the order. Edit the order, set the channel to Wire order, and save. Reports update straight away.

Next

With wire orders flowing, make sure each product you fill has a stem recipe so stock deducts correctly. See Build an arrangement recipe, then Set delivery zones and time slots if you need extra capacity on busy days.

FAQ

Is GetFloristPOS a member of a wire network?

No. We are not a wire network and we have no partnership with any network. You keep your own relay-network account, and we connect to it by integration through the API connector.

Which plan includes the wire order queue?

The wire order queue is part of the Bloom and Garden plans. Bud covers counter sales and your own deliveries, but not the separate wire queue.

Do you take a fee on wire orders?

No. We charge no per-order commission. Any fees your relay network charges are between you and that network.

Can I record wire orders before the integration is live?

Yes. You can key wire orders into the queue by hand. Once the integration is connected, new orders arrive in the queue on their own.
