Delivering flowers in Islamabad
Islamabad's addresses follow its grid of sectors (F-6, F-7, G-9, E-11 and so on), each split into numbered sub-sectors and streets, which makes zoning simple. Deliveries to the Diplomatic Enclave and government buildings need advance clearance and names, while farmhouses and outer housing societies are far apart. Many shops also deliver to Rawalpindi, which is a different road network and traffic pattern. In GetFloristPOS, make zones from groups of sectors, add a Rawalpindi zone with its own fee, and use the delivery note for gate clearance details.

The flower trade in Islamabad
Islamabad has no flower-growing region of its own on the scale of Pattoki, so most cut flowers come up by road from Punjab and are sold through traders in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Imported stems are bought through dealers, mainly for premium shops and events.
The capital's customer mix is unusual for Pakistan: ministries, embassies, international organisations, hotels and conference venues order regularly and expect invoices, alongside family weddings and home gifting.
Florists cluster in the commercial markets of the main sectors, where bouquet shops sit next to stalls selling garlands and petals, and décor companies serve weddings across the twin cities.
