Delivery scheduling
Florist delivery scheduling software books every delivery into a date and a window, like Saturday 10–12, with a capacity you set per van. Full windows stop being offered at the counter, on the phone and online, and the van sheet prints itself.
Saturday · example
- 9:00–12:009/9Full
- 12:00–15:005/8Open
- 15:00–18:007/9Open
- 18:00–20:00 (rush)4/4Full

What does a delivery slot actually solve?
A delivery slot turns “sometime Saturday” into a promise you can keep. Without capacity, the busiest morning gets twelve orders for a van that can do eight, and someone spends Friday night phoning customers. With slots, the shop decides the capacity once and every channel respects it.
Who it’s for
Shops doing local delivery with one to several vans or drivers, including part-time drivers on holidays. If you mostly do cash-and-carry, pickup windows give the same calm to the counter.
What it doesn’t do
It doesn’t dispatch third-party couriers or give turn-by-turn directions. Drivers use their own maps app; we give them the stops in order with everything they need at the door.
This is how a Saturday looks with three windows and four zones. Each stem is a booked delivery; the van sheet on the right is what your driver takes.

Zone fees and surcharges, set once
Each zone carries a fee; same-day and timed deliveries add a surcharge. Fees are order lines, so tax follows your rules.

| Uptown | List of ZIP codes | Standard | 1 pm |
| Riverside | List of ZIP codes | Standard + small surcharge | 12 pm |

What florists tell us
Sample These are illustrative sample reviews, written to show the kind of feedback we design for. Real reviews replace them once shops are live.
“The week before Valentine's we stopped promising 'sometime Saturday'. Each slot fills up, closes itself, and the van sheet for the 10 to 12 run prints in street order.”
“Half our orders still arrive on WhatsApp. Now they go straight into the order book with the slot and the card message, and the invoice shows VAT the way our accountant wants.”
FAQ
How do delivery time slots work in GetFloristPOS?
You define windows (for example 9–12, 12–3, 3–6) for each day of the week, each with a capacity. Every delivery order, whether taken at the counter, by phone or online, is booked into one window. When a window reaches capacity it is no longer offered, so the van is never promised more than it can carry.
Can I set different slots for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day?
Yes. Holiday dates can have their own slots and capacities, for example more, shorter windows and an extra van, plus a holiday delivery fee. Set them weeks ahead so online orders book into the right windows from the start.
Can delivery fees change by zone?
Yes. Each zone has its own fee, and you can add surcharges for same-day, timed or rush delivery. The fee is added as a line on the order and taxed according to your tax settings, which matters in US states where delivery charges are taxable.
Do customers see the slots on my online store?
Yes. The online store generated from your catalogue shows delivery or pickup, then only the slots that still have room for the chosen date. Customers type the card message and delivery instructions at checkout.
How do drivers know what to deliver?
Print the van sheet for a slot, or open it on a phone. It lists each stop with address, recipient phone, item and card message. Drivers update the status to delivered, and the shop sees it on the order.
Does it plan the fastest route?
The van sheet groups stops by zone and lets you drag them into your route order. It does not replace a satnav: drivers still use their own maps app for turn-by-turn directions. Route optimisation through an integration can be discussed on your demo.
What happens when a customer wants a slot that is full?
The slot is shown as full, and staff can offer the nearest open window or override capacity with a manager PIN if the van genuinely has room. Overrides are logged, so you can see later who added a stop.
Can I take pickup orders in the same way?
Yes. Pickup orders choose a pickup time instead of a delivery window, and appear on the day’s pickup list. Many shops give pickup its own capacity on busy holidays to keep the counter calm.
Which plans include delivery scheduling?
Delivery date and time-slot scheduling is in every plan, including Bud. Driver assignment, delivery status and route ordering are in Bloom and Garden. See pricing for your country.
