A business location in GetFloristPOS is your shop as the system sees it: the address printed on receipts, the stock in its cooler, its registers and its invoice layout. Your account comes with one location to fill in. It takes about ten minutes, and once it is saved every sale, delivery and stock count belongs to the right shop.
Before you start
- Your account is created and you can log in as the owner.
- The shop’s full street address, phone number and, if you have one, the tax or trade registration number you print on invoices.
- Your opening hours, including any shorter Sunday or holiday hours.
- A decision on receipt language: English, Arabic, Urdu or Spanish.
- If you have more than one shop, check your plan’s location limit on the pricing page first.
Steps
-
Open Business locations. Go to Settings → Business locations. You will see the location created at sign-up, usually named after your business. Choose Edit to fill it in, or Add if you are setting up a second shop.
-
Add the shop name and address. Use the name customers know, for example “Haddad Flowers, Jumeirah”. Enter the full street address, city, state or emirate, and postal code. This address appears on invoices and is used as the starting point for delivery zones.
-
Set contact details and opening hours. Add the phone number customers call for orders and, if you like, a website. Fill in opening hours so staff and the online store know when the counter is open.
-
Choose the invoice layout and language. Under the location’s invoice settings, pick an invoice layout and the language it prints in. If you need a different design, create one in Settings → Invoice settings and come back to select it. UAE shops usually show prices VAT-inclusive with the VAT amount stated.
-
Add a register for the counter. Go to Settings → Registers (sometimes shown under Cash register) and add one for this location, for example “Front counter”. Staff open the register at the start of the day and close it at night to count the drawer. Your plan sets how many registers you can have.
-
Set the default selling price group. If you charge different prices to trade customers, such as event planners or hotels, set the location’s default price group to your normal retail prices. Trade prices can then be applied per customer.
-
Save and switch to the location. Save your changes. If you have more than one shop, use the location switcher at the top of Sell to make sure you are working in the right one before you ring up a sale.
Common problems
The location will not save
A required field is usually empty. Scroll up and look for a highlighted box, often the city or postal code.
Receipts show the wrong language or currency symbol
Check the invoice layout attached to the location, not just your personal language setting. The receipt follows the location’s layout.
“You have reached your location limit”
Your plan includes a fixed number of locations. Add an extra location from Settings → Subscription, or move to Garden if you run up to three shops.
Staff cannot see the new location
New locations are not given to staff automatically. Open Users and add the location to each person who works there, or give their role access to it.

With your shop in place, set where you deliver and when. Continue with Set delivery zones and time slots so the counter can book Saturday 10–12 without a paper diary.
